We are seeking a System Engineer (SE) to support foundational systems engineering activities across mission‑critical programs. This is an excellent opportunity for early‑career engineers to gain experience in requirements analysis, documentation development, and cross‑disciplinary coordination within a structured engineering environment.
Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures (e.g., DoDAF, SOA).
Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation, including:
System Engineering Plans
Initial Capabilities Documents
Requirements Specifications
Interface Control Documents
Assist in developing system and functional requirements and allocating them to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross‑discipline collaboration.
Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for the degree.
While no experience is required, candidates with exposure to the following areas will stand out:
Circuit‑switched and mobile telephony signaling, networks, and systems (including audio encoding/decoding).
Communications protocols such as GSM, CDMA, 5G, HTS, and associated community tools.
Application development for IPv4/IPv6 packet‑switched networks (L2/L3), including VOIP protocols, VPN technologies, and encapsulation.
Digital forensics tools such as Wireshark.
Strong understanding of the OSI model, layers 2–7.
Experience with protocol stacks for data transfer, including routing, encapsulation, tunneling, encryption, and legacy protocols (e.g., SONET).
