The Level 3 Signals Processing Engineer shall have the following responsibilities and skills:
- Demodulate signals (and identify trends/patterns) from various sources including Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) devices
- Responsible for developing demodulation algorithms for modern communication technologies
- Deinterleave collected signals as necessary
- Experience with developing and implementing DSP algorithms
- Fluency with basics of signals and how to process them including modulation, demodulation, filtering, and spectral analysis
- Experience with MODERN communication and DSP technologies
- Intermediate MATLAB, C, C++, LINUX, PYTHON programming skills
- Background in image and signal processing, both algorithm design and implementation (image scaling, deinterlacing, deinterleaving, frame rate conversion
Required education:
-Ten (10) years experience as a DSP Algorithm developer is required. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of addition DSP experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
