We’re seeking a Senior ISSO to support a newly awarded contract and play a key role in strengthening and maintaining the security posture of mission‑critical systems. In this role, you’ll support the full lifecycle of information assurance activities—from policy development and risk assessments to documentation, configuration management, and day‑to‑day security operations. Supporting the organization’s information assurance program across systems, enclaves, and mission environments
Helping propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies
Maintaining the operational security posture of assigned systems
Managing day‑to‑day security operations and supporting system security activities
Evaluating security solutions to ensure compliance with classified processing requirements
Performing vulnerability and risk assessments to support certification and accreditation
Providing configuration management for security‑related software, hardware, and firmware
Assessing the security impact of system changes and managing updates accordingly
Preparing and reviewing key documentation, including:
System Security Plans (SSPs)
Risk Assessment Reports
Certification & Accreditation (C&A) packages
System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs)
Supporting security authorization activities under NISCAP and DoD RMF
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related field
In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 4 additional years of related experience may be considered
12+ years of related experience, including:
7+ years as an ISSO supporting IC or DoD programs of similar scope and complexity
DoD 8570 compliance at IAM Level II or IAT Level III (CASP, CISSP, or Associate)
Strong understanding of information assurance principles, system security engineering, and risk management
Experience supporting certification, accreditation, and continuous monitoring activities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams and leadership
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
