We are currently looking for a Backend Software Developer Level 1 with the following qualifications and technical experience:
Required Experience:
- Experience supporting development and execution of software component test procedures
- Experience generating technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
Technical Skills:
- Git
- Java, C++, or Python
- Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- SQL
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and 7 years of Software Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
- 4 additional years of relevant Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a degree (considered on a case-by-case basis)
Work Schedule:
- Up to 16 hours per week
- Telework availability dependent on sprint tasking and program needs
