Software Engineer L3
We are currently looking for a Backend Software Engineer Level 3 with the following qualifications and technical experience:
Required Education/Experience:
- Twenty (20)+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
OR
- Twenty-four (24)+ years of development experience in lieu of a qualifying degree
Required Technical Experience:
- JavaScript and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Java, C++, or VB.NET
- HTML, CSS, PHP, Perl, Python, and Ruby
- Experience developing applications interfacing with REST-based APIs/services in Apache Tomcat/Java or NodeJS environments
Full SDLC Experience Including:
- Serving as the technical lead for multiple software development teams
- Translating user requirements into software requirements
- Developing software solutions based on system performance standards
- Supporting software component design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis
- Performing both new software development and enhancement of existing capabilities
- Developing data queries for existing or proposed databases and repositories
- Integrating new and existing software systems
- Administering, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure application security and integrity
Work Schedule:
- Up to 16 hours per week
- Telework availability will depend on sprint tasking and program requirements
